Aside Money (“Aside Money,” “we,” “us”) is a bill reminder and subscription tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the Aside Money mobile application (the “App”) and related pages on asidemoney.com.
This policy applies to people who download or use the App on iOS or Android, and to visitors of our website pages linked from the App (including this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service).

Because this data stays on your device, deleting the App (or using erase/reset features in the App) removes that local data, subject to any backup files you previously exported.
The App lets you export a backup file (bills, history, and settings) and a read-only CSV for spreadsheets. Those files are created only when you choose Export / share / save.
If you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device (for example a daily digest of bills due). Notification content is generated from data on your device. We do not send marketing push notifications from a remote server about your bills.
You can change or revoke notification permission in your device settings at any time.
Aside Money Plus (unlimited bills and related Plus features) is sold as an auto-renewable in-app subscription. Purchases are processed by:
Those providers may process purchase identifiers, subscription status, product identifiers, and related commerce data under their own privacy policies. We use that information only to unlock or manage Plus features and related purchase support — not to read or sync your bill contents.
Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google, not by Aside Money.
If you contact us (for example at contact.asidemoney@gmail.com, including “Suggest a bill type”), we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your email address and message content — and use it only to respond and improve the product.
Pages on asidemoney.com (such as Privacy and Terms) are static informational pages. They are not used to host your bill data. Any server or hosting logs created by normal web delivery (for example IP address, user agent, or request time) are processed by the hosting provider as part of serving the page and are not used by us to profile your finances.

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information through email contact, please write to us and we will delete it.
Your bill data remains on your device unless you export it. If you contact us by email or complete a store purchase, that information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or our email/hosting providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms used by those providers.
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For Aside Money:
Because we do not operate a cloud account for your bills, there is no server-side bill profile for us to download or wipe on your behalf beyond what you control on device and in any files you exported.
We design the product so sensitive bill details do not need to leave your phone. Device security (passcode, biometrics, OS updates) and careful handling of backup files are the primary protections. No method of storage is perfectly secure; if you export a backup, treat that file like private financial notes.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://asidemoney.com/privacy.html and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
